Travel Awards

 

Award Notification

The award application deadline was Sunday, 11 June 2017.  Applicants were notified of their award status via email on Friday, 14 July 2017.

 

Award recipients will receive five (5) nights of hotel accommodations at the Symposium venue, the Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis. The accommodations will be reserved by the Symposium Secretariat for arrival on Sunday, 24 September and departure on Friday, 29 September. The cost to stay any additional nights would be at the award recipient’s own expense.  

 

Applicant Eligibility

Applicants must be Graduate Students, Post-Doctoral Fellows, or new Faculty within the first 3 years of their first appointment, and be the presenting author of an abstract.  The award is available to anyone who meets the above criteria, without geographical restrictions.  Support will be awarded based on the abstract ranking and availability of funds.  Scholarships are awarded to the individual and are non-transferable.
