Academic: Registrants who are employed by a university, college, research institution or government agency qualify for this registration type.




Trainee: Registrants who are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an academic institution qualify for this registration type.




Industry: Registrants who do not fall under the Academic or Trainee categories should register with this registration type.

Guest Tickets


Welcome Reception Ticket: Available to a guest of a registered attendee. One ticket per registered attendee.


Gala Dinner Ticket: Available to a guest of a registered attendee. One ticket per registered attendee.



Registration Includes:

  • Symposium admission, including all scientific sessions;
  • Conference Materials including a program and abstract book
  • Meals, as outlined in the program

The Symposium registration fee does not include the Gala Dinner or cover airfare, hotel, or other costs.


Method of Payment

Full payment in U.S. dollars is required at the time of registration. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards are accepted. Conference Solutions will be listed as the vendor on your credit card statement.


Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests must be made in writing by emailing Cancellations received by 24 August 2017 will be refunded, less a $175 administrative fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after 24 August 2017.

If for any reason the Symposium should be cancelled, HCV 2017 will refund the registration fee. The Symposium is not responsible for the refund of airfare, hotel, or other costs. Refunds of credit card payments will be made to the same account used for the payment. Cancellation fees will be invoiced on outstanding accounts.


Substitution Policy

Payment of a $50 administrative fee enables you to transfer your registration to another person, simply by emailing Substitutions will be transferred at the same rate as the original registration and can be made up until the pre-registration deadline of 08 September 2017, or at the onsite Registration Desk. Substitutions can be made to Banquet purchases without a charge.

With registration, the participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge claims against the symposium organizers should the meeting be altered, hindered, or prevented by unexpected political or economic events, unpredictable forces of nature, speaker cancellations or other unforeseeable events. Submission of your registration is an agreement to these terms and conditions of the symposium.


Certificate of Attendance

A Certificate of Attendance will be available on the website after the Symposium. Attendees will receive a passcode to access the website and download the Certificate.


Letter of Invitation

After completion of the online registration form, you will be sent to a Confirmation Page, which will contain a link to create a personalized letter of invitation for use in visa applications. You will also receive a confirmation email with the same link. You will need to submit your name, date of birth, passport number and nationality to generate the letter. Symposium identification badges are mandatory and will be required for admission to all symposium functions.



Each registrant grants the symposium permission to photograph participants in any session, and to use such photographs and the names of attendees in any materials which either represent the proceedings of the symposium or promote future symposia.
